Privacy Policy — RMO

RMO ("the extension", "the dashboard") lets you remote-control media tabs in your desktop browser from your phone. This policy describes what data the software handles and where it goes.

What is collected

• Account identity: your Google account email and profile, used only to sign you in (via Firebase Authentication).
• Media tab inventory: titles, URLs, and favicons of tabs on supported media sites (YouTube, YouTube Music, SoundCloud, Spotify, X), plus whether they are audible. Shown in your dashboard so you can pick what to control.
• Commands: the control actions you send (play, pause, next, mute, …) and whether they succeeded, so the dashboard can confirm them and the extension can avoid executing a command twice.

Where it goes

All of the above is stored in the developer's Firebase project (rmo-io) and is visible only to your signed-in account. It is never shared with third parties, never sold, and never used for advertising or analytics.

What is not collected

Browsing history beyond media tabs, passwords, payment data, or the content of pages. The content script only clicks the media controls you ask it to; it does not read page content.

Data retention and deletion

Tab inventory and command records are transient operational data. Signing out of the extension stops collection; contact the developer to request deletion of stored data.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected here with a new effective date.
